Thanks for Culture Project director Allan Buchman, Sting and Trudie Styler for inviting me to play the reception for Twin Spirits, the 19th century love story of composer Robert and Clara Schumann as performed by Sting and Trudie Styler. I truly enjoyed this remarkable ensemble performance by an extraordinary cast of artists and musicians that included narrator John Lithgow and violinist Joshua Bell.
After the play, we all moved over to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion where I had a chance to share songs from Sacred Love as well as new songs being readied for my next CD, and meet the artists. Listeners at the reception included cast members, guests like Robert Downey, Jr., Timothy Jahnigan and Lisa Tarver, founders of the One World Futbal project which is supported by Sting, and many friends from Hollywood and the Bay Area.
